To enhance the prevention and timely management of extreme weather events, the Municipality of Tyrnavos installed innovative AGENSO flood control systems at strategic locations across the city, including rivers and nearby high-risk areas. The system is installed in rivers and other water bodies, where it measures the distance between the water surface and the sensor.
